"Don't be conformed to the patterns of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your minds so you can figure out what God's will is -- what is good, pleasing and acceptable." ~ Romans 12:2
Here, God is urging us to respond to His mercy, His forgiveness and His including us in His family The appropriate reaction would be to offer ourselves as a living sacrifice, giving Him our devotion and love. God does not want us to conform to the ways of the world, living for self. We are told to be transformed from the inside out. We will be changed in the way we think so we renew our minds to understand God's will for our lives. How do we use the things we have in our lives? What does God want for me? What is the good use of my life for His purposes and not just for my own?
That is true living!
