FELLOWSHIP, FAITH, FUN, AND FOOD
Fellowship is such an important part of experiencing, sharing, and growing in your faith, and at FUMC, we offer many different opportunities to get together.
WEDNESDAY NIGHT ALIVE
From September through December and January through March, our Wednesday Night Alive sessions begin with a wonderful meal in McDowell Hall at 5:00 p.m. This is a time for family and friends to gather for food, fun, and fellowship. At 6:00 we have classes for all ages. There are Deep Bible studies with our Senior pastor, classes for women’s studies, and classes for young couples and singles. We offer a variety of classes during the year that will stimulate your spirit and interest.
UNITED METHODIST WOMEN
This is an organization of the United Methodist Church focusing on missions. Our mission initiatives include:

DINNER AND THE BIBLE
These are small groups that meet in the home to study and grow together in Christ.
The studies are varied by the group. Dates and times are decided by each group to fit the needs of the people attending.
EMMAUS REUNION
After attending an Emmaus walk people are encouraged to be part of a group of friends to meet regularly. This group continues to keep each other accountable through a deepening of their faith and relationship with Jesus Christ.
WOMEN'S BIBLE STUDY
The Vivian Davis Bible study meets first and third Wednesdays of each month. This group has met since 1985, and is one of the longest running Bible Study groups this church has ever had. They study the Bible, going indepth verse by verse. They started with the New Testament and then moved to the Old Testament, taking time to have Advent and Lenten studies each year. The original group had over 25 members, and over the years there have been many changes. Some have passed and some have moved, but two original members remain, Marilyn Tallman and Jackie Breed.
ADULT MINISTRY
This is an opportunity for our adults to gather together and enjoy plays, day trips to local interesting places, overnight adventures, luncheons, and even international trips.
